Hello Dolphins!

Our training is ramping up to prepare us for City Meet and your swimmers have been working hard in practice. We appreciate the persistence and energy everyone brings to practice! Please read through this email and make note of some important changes and information about upcoming events!

1) All meet entries for this upcoming Saturday meet are due tomorrow by practice! Please get these in quickly!

2) We need volunteers on Saturday for timing, heat seating, etc. Because of the last minute change in location, Village Green needs help running the meet. Volunteer sign ups are now open in swimtopia, please help if you can! All volunteer positions will be explained in a meeting the morning of, so don't worry if it's something you haven't done before.

3) This week's Friday Funday (6/28) will look a different than usual. Our older kids will be coaching the second practice through a workout, and the last 15 minutes of practice the team will play water polo! This is will run from 7:45am - 8:30am (however if your swimmers are in the first/older practice, please have them come at 7:30am to help get set for coaching). There will still be donuts and lots of fun! 

Nothing changes for swimmers in the second practice, we just want to give a heads up about what's happening on Friday!

4) We WILL have practice on the 4th of July next week - however, it is all fun and games! It will run from 7:45-8:30am, and it will replace our Friday Funday for next week. Coaches will be at the pool from 7:30-8:30am on Friday, July 5th if your swimmers want to work on stroke technique, dives, etc. We have a meet on July 6th, so we want to give swimmers the opportunity to get some laps in before a meet without requiring an early practice after a late night of fireworks.

We need a volunteer for donuts on July 4th - sign up via swimtopia or email a coach if you can bring donuts!
