Hello Dolphins!

Wow, this season has flown by. As we near the end of the season, us coaches would like to say thank you for all of your support and help throughout this summer (and and extra thank you to those who filled up our city meet volunteer spots as well), we couldn't do it without you!

Tomorrow is our last practice of the season - it will run at normal times, but will be treated like a Friday Funday (or FriYAY as our team likes to call it :D ). There will be donuts and fun!

Our end of the season party is written down as July 23rd from 6-8pm. We are still waiting to get approval from the pool to host it at Ridgewood, so the date MAY change. We just want to give everyone as much as a heads up as possible, as we would love to have everyone there to celebrate an awesome season!

If your family is attending city, please read through these tips from the Summer Swim League board about managing heat this weekend:

1. Bring lots of water. We love that fact that we are able to have outdoor teams and meets here in Fort Collins! With that, there are going to be hot days, please bring extra water.

2. Bring Shade. There is not a whole lot of shade around Village Green, please bring some of your own!

3. Apply and Re-apply Sunscreen. With the heat, applying every 2 hours is really important.

4. Bring cold snacks that help fuel your swimmers. Frozen fruit is always a sweet treat on a hot day.

AND, your very own coaches will be participating in a coaches fun relay at the end of City Meet on Friday! If you are available to stay and watch, it will be a fun (and quick) event!
